"This exhibition is the result of a 2013 International Studies trip taken by nineteen people from SUNY Adirondack to Italy. The group toured Florence, Pisa, Siena and Rome concentrating on Italian Renaissance Art and Culture.
While in Siena, the group visited Valentini’s photography studio. The group was drawn to the photographer’s ability to capture the raucous annual Palio horse races, the idyllic Siena countryside and the gorgeous Italian architecture with the lithe dancer in the foreground. The photographs serve as a beautiful example of Italian culture and society and also are a reminder of the amazing opportunity SUNY Adirondack provides for International travel."
